HVAC Diagnostics Technician

The HVAC Diagnostics Technician will play a key role in the company's service operations by accurately diagnosing HVAC system issues and providing solutions for customers. This is a front-facing position that involves working with warm leads—customers who have already reached out for service—making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is both technically skilled and service-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and recommend solutions
• Provide estimates and present service or replacement options
• Convert diagnostic calls into completed service jobs
• Deliver excellent customer service in a front-facing role
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman HVAC License in Indiana and/or Kentucky
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers and selling services
• Experience estimating HVAC jobs is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
