RMA Coordinator (Return Material Authorization Coordinator) Location: Aurora, IL Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Join Mitutoyo America Corporation Mitutoyo America Corporation, a global leader in precision measuring instruments and metrology solutions, is seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused RMA Coordinator to join our Customer Service team. In this role, you will manage the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process from start to finish, helping ensure a positive customer experience while coordinating product returns, replacements, credits, and issue resolution. This position serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate handling of returned products. What You’ll Do: Review and process customer return requests in accordance with company policies. Issue and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). Track returned products and monitor the status of returns through completion. Coordinate with Customer Service, Inventory, Shipping, and other departments to resolve issues and expedite deliveries. Authorize reasonable credits for defective or returned products, subject to management approval. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to returns, replacements, and credits. Communicate with customers regarding return status, product replacements, and resolutions. Provide backup support to the Customer Service team by answering customer phone calls and emails. Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards throughout the return process. What We’re Looking For: Strong customer service and communication skills. Minimum of one year of customer service, administrative, logistics, or related experience preferred. Experience processing returns, credits, or warranty claims is a plus.
