Instructional Designer

A financial services organization in Pensacola, FL is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop engaging learning solutions that support enterprise training initiatives. This hybrid role focuses on creating instructional content, collaborating with stakeholders, and designing a range of learning experiences across classroom, virtual, and self-paced formats.

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business
• Setting: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

• Plan and manage instructional design projects and learning initiatives across the business unit and organization
• Collaborate with business partners to design and develop courses and curricula aligned with business objectives
• Conduct training needs assessments and translate requirements into effective learning solutions
• Create instructor-led, virtual, online, and self-paced learning content and materials
• Develop job aids, reference guides, support tools, and LMS learning activities that reinforce performance

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Behavioral Sciences, Training Development, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Experience in instructional design, learning and development, or corporate training
• Experience evaluating the effectiveness of courses, learning products, and delivery methods
• Experience researching, writing, and developing instructional content and technology-driven learning products
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design methodologies, educational theory, instructional tools, and learning resources
• Experience assessing organizational training needs and translating requirements into effective learning solutions
• Ability to capture and translate complex processes into easy-to-understand training materials
• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and business stakeholders at all levels
• Experience building strategic relationships with business partners and leadership
• Proficiency with database, presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet software

• Experience developing multimedia training content
