Location: Kyle, Texas
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $38.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: Days
Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Physical Therapists to help patients regain mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through individualized treatment programs.
Required Qualifications• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Responsibilities• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and response to therapy interventions.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
• Maintain patient safety throughout all therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques.
