Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud and a strong background in DevSecOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, DevSecOps principles, and proficiency in tools such as Ansible, Chef, Python coding, Terraform scripting, and other relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Cloud Security:

- Design, implement, and manage security controls within the Azure Cloud environment.

- Conduct security assessments and audits of Azure services and resources.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure deployment of applications and services in Azure.

2. DevSecOps Implementation:

- Integrate security measures into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices in CI/CD processes.

- Automate security controls and compliance checks as part of the DevSecOps workflow.

3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

- Utilize Terraform scripting for the automated provisioning and management of infrastructure.

- Implement security policies as code to enforce security configurations across cloud resources.

- Work on version-controlled infrastructure to enable efficient collaboration and change management.

4. Configuration Management:

- Leverage Asible or Chef for configuration management to ensure consistency and security across cloud environments.

- Implement and maintain secure configurations for servers and applications.

5. Scripting and Coding:

- Proficient in Python coding for automation of security tasks and the development of security tools.

- Develop and maintain custom scripts to enhance security measures and incident response.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer with a focus on Azure Cloud.

3. In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.

4. Hands-on experience with Ansible, Chef, Python coding, and Terraform scripting.

5. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and industry standards.

6. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST, GDPR).

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Azure certifications such as AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.

2. Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).

3. Knowledge of container security and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

4. Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
