This role includes managing maintenance staff, ensuring facility safety and compliance, supervising purchasing and budgeting, and supporting district operations to maintain a safe and efficient learning environment. Documents Required Applicants must attach the following documents: Signed copy of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (engineering, architecture, public administration, business management, or a closely related field) along with official transcripts. Resume. California Driver’s License. Two letters of recommendation dated within the last year. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, architecture, public administration, business management, or closely related field. Minimum five (5) years of experience in facilities, maintenance, and operations, or a related field. At least two (2) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in a school district purchasing and/or facilities capacity; three (3) years is desirable. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Responsibilities Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of district facilities, maintenance, and purchasing. Develop and manage facility operating budgets and cost control measures. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Supervise and hire maintenance staff, providing training and performance evaluations. Collaborate with school administrators to address facility and operational needs. Prepare reports and updates for district leadership.
