Operating primarily as a solo driver, this role requires expertise in load securing, vehicle inspection, and compliance with safety regulations. The position involves occasional overnight stays and extended trips to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. Responsibilities * Secure loads to ensure safe transport of building materials * Plan routes for timely and efficient delivery * Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips * Transport cargo safely over regional distances * Comply with all safety and transportation regulations * Maintain accurate log documentation of trips and deliveries * Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch * Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure operational readiness * Coordinate deliveries to meet client schedules Preferred Qualifications * 1+ years of experience in flatbed driving * Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) * Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards * Expertise in load securing techniques * Strong vehicle inspection skills * Effective time management and communication abilities * Problem-solving skills to handle route or cargo issues
