We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the full-cycle payment and disbursement process for a high-volume client portfolio. This is not a traditional litigation paralegal role; it is a specialized position requiring a strong accounting mindset, mastery of complex spreadsheets, and the ability to navigate delicate professional communications.

The ideal candidate has experience running the "back office" and understands the intersection of legal ethics and financial distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee the accurate disbursement of funds for 900+ clients, ensuring all payments are processed timely and in accordance with established protocols.
• Complex Fee Tracking: Calculate and manage intricate fee splits and multi-party distributions.
• Data Oversight: Maintain and update large-scale spreadsheets; ensure data integrity across all financial tracking documents.
• Professional Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, estate counsel, and external stakeholders regarding payment status and documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure all disbursements meet regulatory and firm-specific guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Legal Industry Experience: Proven background in legal administration or law firm management.
• Advanced Excel Skills: Must be comfortable managing, auditing, and manipulating large datasets.
• Accounting Proficiency: Strong mathematical aptitude and experience with trust accounting, billing, or accounts payable/receivable.
• Communication: Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with estate attorneys and diverse client groups with professionalism and empathy.
• Detail Obsession: A track record of catching errors in high-volume environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a Law Office Manager or Financial Paralegal.
