Primary Care Physician

Livingston Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking to employ a full time Physician to work in a community based healthcare center. We strongly recruit for those providers with the passion to serve the underserved. Located in the heart of Central California we are an hour and a half to San Francisco and to the Gateway of Yosemite National Park. We are Patient Centered, fully utilizing electronic health records and have a patient base of approximately 14,000 patients. Responsibilities include: comprehensive medical services for children and adults and disease prevention in partnership with the patient. The physician will diagnose patient conditions using examination and tests. Based on their findings, they prescribe treatment and medications to attempt to heal any illnesses or injuries.

Under the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), Primary care medical, dental and mental/behavioral health clinicians can get up to $50,000 to repay their health profession student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment to work at an approved NHSC site in a high-need, underserved area. The payment is free from Federal income tax and is made at the beginning of service so you can more quickly pay down your loans. After completing your initial service commitment, you can apply to extend your service and receive additional loan repayment assistance. Since Livingston Community Health has a high HPSA (Health Provider Shortage Area) score of 18, we are an approved NHSC site who qualifies for the Loan Repayment Program.
