Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Protective Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. An active armed guard card or license is required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional interactions with employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
