This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program.What You'll Get to Do :Support the development and deployment of the Data Acquisition and Processing System to support flight test data handling at Vandenberg Space Force BaseSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:System architecture and requirements developmentFlight test data processing to include best bit selection of raw telemetry data and data quality checksSystem performance assessment, requirements analysis, verification and validation, design, development, and integrationCreate technical reports and present metric reportsInterface with internal and external customersBasic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either the Associate Systems Engineer level (T-01) or Systems Engineer level (T-02).Required for Both Levels:Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have a current or ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need1 year of experience with DOORS or CAMEOExperience with Systems Engineering Principles or understanding of the Systems Engineering VUnderstanding of functional requirement development, requirements analysis, functional analysis, trades, and architecture definitionAssociate Systems Engineer (T01 Level):Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 1 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degreeSystems Engineer (T02 Level):Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degreePreferred Qualifications:Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similarICBM ExperienceFamiliarity with Agile engineering and JiraAdvanced use of standard Microsoft Office products to include development toolsExperience with modern (Model Based System Engineering) MBSE principles and SysML Modeling LanguageActive Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 yearsPosition BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
