An entrepreneurial spirit and wanting to be part of building a new practice within an existing successful firm will be critical to the success of this position. We are seeking self-starting, highly motivated individuals with a proven track record of success and a keen sense of dedication to high-quality client services. The ideal candidate will have experience leading transaction services engagement teams at a large national professional services firm.Directors within Transaction Services will have major engagement management responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm. Other responsibilities include researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field requiredMinimum 12 years of related experience; experience in a large public accounting firm preferredCPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employmentMust have the ability to analyze complex business and transaction situationsPrevious experience supervising and training staffStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skillsExcellent presentation skills and marketing abilities are requiredMust be willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically and internationallyThe compensation range for this role is $260,000-$393,000.
