Low Voltage Technician (Security Tech)

Baldwin Communication Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team. As a Security Tech, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced security solutions to our commercial clients. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to a safer business environment for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including access control, CCTV, fire alarms, and burglar alarms. Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide customized solutions. Perform regular maintenance and inspections of installed systems. Stay updated on the latest security technologies and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system configurations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Requirements: Proven experience in installing and maintaining security systems, or a willingness to learn. Familiarity with access control systems (e.g., Brivo), CCTV (e.g., Eagle Eye Networks), and alarm systems is a plus (DMP & Bosch). Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to pass a background check Reliable Transportation Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Desired Skills: Experience with cloud-based security technologies. Certifications in security systems installation. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
