Intake Coordinator

salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Receives and triages all incoming faxes/mail
• Receives and triages telephone calls
• Opens up intake box and reviews referrals for validity
• Indexes referrals for duplicates in UR tracking software
• Indexes referrals for pertinent information when required
• Documents activity in UR tracking software
• Confirms receipt of referral by e-mail to examiners within 2 hours of receipt
• Prints referral information when required
• Gives information packet to UR Nurse for assignment
• Uploads documentation into appropriate system
• Maintains accurate and organized filing system
• Works collaboratively with staff
