Sales Estimator - Phoenix Products

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Creates job estimates using specifications received by customer and prepare sales quotes for the customers.

Review and interpret specifications and drawings from customers and prepare sales quote to offer to prospective customers.

Provide Design Support data for customers and engineers.

Create individual job cost estimates related to quotes prepared.

Provides technical support to customers when inquiring about products needed for design of the project.

Review entered Order Acknowledgements to ensure they contain all the correct equipment needed for the design of the customer’s project.

Update estimating templates periodically to ensure quotes are using current prices.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in Sales or Estimating with an emphasis in Manufacturing sales and/or Mechanical engineering.

Knowledge of basic computer skills required.

Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.

Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

CAD experience preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience required.
