Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist Schedule: M-F, 8-5 or at least 40 hrs/wk Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Requirements:
- Possession of an Occupational Therapy License issued by the state.
- Possession of a valid registration certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Implement programs to help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning.
- Direct aides and assistants in therapeutic activities and interventions.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Create and instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs.
- Document patient care services and maintain confidentiality and safety protocols.
