Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a valid and current VA SLP License.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
• Experience working within a school setting is highly desired.
• Confident in providing comprehensive speech/language services for a diverse student population.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for speech and language services.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Provide direct therapy and clearly document student progress.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal requirements.
