UX Designer

We are seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented UX Designer to support the digital ecosystem of a globally recognized, premium specialty coffee and CPG brand. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product, you will be an essential design partner, translating user insights, retail trends, and product hypotheses into meticulously executed, developer-ready interfaces across responsive web, ecommerce platforms, and native mobile applications . Our client’s digital product does not live in isolation—it directly serves an intentional physical café footprint and a robust digital subscription community. In this role, you will focus on the nuanced challenge of designing seamless omnichannel experiences, refining ecommerce and transactional architecture , optimizing mobile order-and-pay flows , and enhancing subscription and loyalty experiences to foster long-term customer retention. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience designing consumer-facing mobile experiences, ecommerce journeys, and conversion-focused digital products , with a strong understanding of how user behavior, experimentation, and thoughtful design decisions impact acquisition, engagement, and retention. Core Responsibilities: Own the Omnichannel Journey: Design and iterate on critical user flows across responsive web and native mobile apps, specifically focusing on mobile UX experiences , mobile order-and-pay, guest checkout, product discovery, search, ecommerce purchasing journeys, and subscription management dashboards. Design Ecommerce & Transactional Experiences: Create intuitive, frictionless digital shopping experiences across product discovery, cart, checkout, payment, and account management flows that improve conversion and customer satisfaction. Bridge Digital & Physical Touchpoints: Create seamless, frictionless user experiences that connect the digital app environment to the in-café pickup experience, maximizing both digital conversion and physical retail engagement. Support Conversion & Retention (CRO): Rapidly create high-fidelity visual variations for A/B testing and experimentation aimed at reducing friction in the checkout funnel, improving cart conversion, increasing order value, boosting subscription adoption, and decreasing churn. Leverage & Maintain Design Systems: Work strictly within an established Figma design system to ensure absolute brand consistency across typography, layout grids, components, and digital experiences. Deliver Production-Ready Assets: Collaborate smoothly with product management, engineering, analytics, and cross-functional partners to hand off clean, documented Figma files and interactive prototypes. Aesthetic Alignment: Ensure all digital interfaces reflect a highly curated, premium, and minimalist brand identity while maintaining usability, accessibility, and customer-centered design principles. Requirements & Qualifications: Experience: 2–4 years of dedicated professional UX or Product Design experience, with a proven track record designing consumer-facing mobile experiences, ecommerce platforms, digital transactions, premium D2C subscriptions, or quick-service/fast-casual restaurant digital products. Mobile & Ecommerce Expertise: Hands-on experience designing for mobile applications and ecommerce experiences , including product discovery, checkout flows, purchasing journeys, account experiences, and customer retention touchpoints. Experimentation Experience: Experience designing and supporting A/B testing initiatives , including creating design variations, testing user experiences, analyzing results, and iterating based on customer behavior and business metrics. Omnichannel Familiarity: Hands-on experience designing for mobile order-ahead workflows, retail loyalty apps, recurring subscription models, membership experiences, or consumer retention products is highly preferred. Portfolio: A digital portfolio showcasing an understated, modern design aesthetic, responsive web layouts, mobile app experiences, ecommerce/transactional flows, and intuitive consumer-facing experiences (e.g., shopping carts, checkout, order tracking, subscriptions, or user dashboards). Technical Mastery: Highly proficient in Figma , including a strong understanding of auto-layout, components, component variants, prototyping, and maintaining scalable design systems.
