About the Position

Job Title

Computed Tomography (CT) / X-Ray Technologist – Nights (Travel Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified body areas as directed by a physician
• Perform all routine diagnostic CT and X-Ray procedures with high proficiency in both modalities
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in the operating room, emergency room, and at bedside
• Perform digital radiography, portables, fluoroscopy, and OR C-arm procedures
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow while maintaining strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• 2+ years of current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• High proficiency with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
• Experience working with all patient age groups
• Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) License required (equivalent state license may qualify)
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification required
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Traveler must have personal reliable transportation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel assignment experience
• Familiarity with hospital-based imaging workflows and multi-modality environments
