Harmony Mental Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role. Work Environment\nThis position offers the flexibility of working remotely while being part of a supportive outpatient team. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some necessary flexibility to adapt to patient needs. By providing services from the comfort of your own space, you will be able to maintain a work-life balance while contributing significantly to our patients' well-being.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop personalized treatment plans. \n
- Implement individualized therapeutic interventions focused on trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n
- Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to process trauma and build effective coping strategies. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care approach for our patients. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate care and safety. \n
- Engage in educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards of mental health practice. \n
- Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights that foster collaborative treatment approaches. \n
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic efficacy. \n
This role primarily supports individuals struggling with trauma and its associated disorders. The therapist will work with a diverse population, including adults and adolescents, promoting a solid foundation for healing through comprehensive therapeutic techniques. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution. \n
- Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington. \n
- A demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment strategies. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. \n
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, offering a steady presence during high-stress situations. \n
- The capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated care and patient well-being. \n

- At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with trauma survivors. \n
- Practical experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. \n
- Familiarity with contemporary trauma therapy research and best practices. \n
