\nJob Title: Global Procurement Specialist / Senior Buyer
\nLocation: Charlotte, NC / West Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)
\nDuration: 12+ months
\n \nGLOBAL PROCUREMENT / SENIOR BUYER
\n \nProfile to Hunt: Hands-on Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist / P2P Analyst who has personally executed purchasing transactions in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing .
\n \n \nMANDATORY
\n• 3+ years of hands-on Purchasing/Procurement experience
\n• SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing – strongest requirement
\n• Creating/processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
\n• Purchase Order creation/processing/modifications
\n• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P): PR → PO → Invoice → Payment
\n• Experience resolving purchasing/transaction issues
\n• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving
\n \nSTRONG PLUS / FLEX
\n• Financial Services/Banking procurement
\n• HR procurement
\n• Learning & Development procurement
\n• IT Software/Hardware procurement
\n• Experience working across Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Enablement, Third-Party, AP and Tax
\n• Other enterprise procurement/P2P systems
\n \n \nIdeal profile: Senior Buyer + Ariba Buying & Invoicing + PR/PO execution + end-to-end P2P + strong troubleshooting/problem solving.
\n \n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Function: Global Procurement/purchasing. \n
- Heavy focus on executing purchase orders . \n
- Strong experience with Ariba , particularly Ariba Buying & Invoicing . \n
- Must understand purchasing/procurement processes and the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle . \n
- Steve described the underlying work as fairly straightforward procurement work — not highly technical. \n
- The group previously used Operational Accountant 2 for similar work, but Steve was trying to get the roles titled/scoped more appropriately , which is also why pricing/discount levels were still being worked through. \n
Focus: Procurement + Purchasing + Purchase Orders + Ariba Buying & Invoicing + P2P.
