The RN demonstrates a leadership role with continued competence in assessment, treatment and caring for patients. The RN is dedicated to providing safe, quality care in a compassionate and efficient manner.Position RequirementsUnencumbered active CT RN LicenseMinimum of 2 years OR experience; ambulatory surgery center experience preferred, orthopedic preferredBLS and ACLS Certifications requiredAble to communicate effectively, and have an ability to work compatibly with all physicians and staffMust be able to speak, read and write English.Possess strong organizational skills, and a clear understanding of the importance of efficiency and cost effectiveness in an ambulatory surgery centerKnowledge and clinical skills to perform the job duties of an OR Circulator RNA strong knowledge of aseptic technique, anesthetic agents and complications, and the ability to handle emergency situationsMust have an aptitude for understanding, use of, and troubleshooting machines and equipment.Experience with Orthopedic procedures (specifically total joints) a plusAbility to scrub cases a plusThis job posting is not meant to be all inclusive but to provide an overview of the job responsibilities.Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good-faith estimate at the time of this posting.
