Senior Technician II-Equipment

Job Description Perform installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Study equipment performance and reliability. Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering organizations. Define and write preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures. Requirements / Qualifications Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field. 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience; semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred. Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts. Experience in component‑level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits. Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards. Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses. Ability to test and evaluate electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.
