Salary: 19.75-24.50 hourly

SUMMARY: A route merchandiser is responsible for filling, maintaining, and servicing Dependable Vendings equipment out in the field at identified locations on the route. This includes taking care of customers requests, maintain inventory and operation of vending machines, and safely driving to each location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads and unloads deliveries.
• Performs routine vehicle inspections to ensure that delivery vehicle is working properly
• Cleans and maintains company vehicles on a daily basis and when necessary.
• Performs all deliveries while following all vehicle state laws and driving in a safe manner.
• Relays all customer and/or safety concerns to management.
• Fills assigned vehicles with gas/diesel and reports maintenance issues to management.
• Solves customer concerns while out in the field.
• Maintains proper records of money going in and out of equipment on assigned route.
• Responsible for the safe loading and unloading of all full and empty bins.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Frequently required to talk or hear
• Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)

• Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals
• Frequently exposure to outside weather conditions
