Director of Operations

Reports to: Dr. Rehan Shahid and Dr. Husnain Shahid Location: Mount Pleasant, Texas; will consider a minimum 3-day on-site commitment initially Travel: Regular travel across all four practice locations (three within 30 minutes of the main office, one approximately one hour away) About Shahid Dental Group Shahid Dental Group is a thriving, family-owned dental organization based in Mount Pleasant, Texas, proudly operating four practice locations. Built on a foundation of strong patient care and steady growth, the group has reached approximately $10 million in annual revenue and is now pursuing an ambitious, well-defined plan to reach $25 million within the next three years. Ownership remains closely involved in the business and is looking for a true operational partner, someone who leads from the front, rolls up their sleeves, and drives day-to-day execution across offices and departments, rather than a purely strategic or "behind-the-keyboard" executive. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations across our four-office group. This is an execution-focused leadership role: you will manage multiple offices and departments directly, without a large corporate support structure behind you, and will serve as the true integrator who brings ownership's vision to life. The right candidate will bring the operational depth, energy, and hands-on instincts to elevate performance across our practices, build strong and accountable teams, and help lead our growth from $10 million to $25 million in revenue over the next three years. What You Will Own Multi-Office Operations Directly manage day-to-day operations across all four practice locations, staying close to the details rather than delegating through a large corporate layer. Independently oversee multiple departments and functions across the group, bringing structure, consistency, and accountability to each office. Execution & Growth Serve as the integrator who executes on ownership's vision, translating strategic growth goals, including our target of $25 million in revenue within three years, into clear operational plans and results. Team Standards & Accountability Raise the bar on staff performance and accountability across the organization, building a strong, capable team that can support our continued growth. Partnership with Ownership Work closely and directly with ownership, maintaining clear alignment on expectations, goals, and performance standards as the business scales. Who You Are You bring significant, hands-on experience managing multiple offices or locations, ideally within dental or broader healthcare operations. You have a proven track record of driving revenue growth in a multi-location environment. You are an integrator at heart, someone who executes and delivers results, not simply a high-level strategist. You are comfortable independently managing multiple departments without a large corporate support staff. You are based in, or willing to relocate to, the Mount Pleasant, Texas area; strong candidates able to commit to a minimum 3-day on-site presence initially will also be considered. You bring strong accountability and follow-through, with a genuinely hands-on operating style.
