Qualifications Required ASN or Nursing Diploma 1-2 years nursing experience required Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire 1-2 years Labor and Delivery experience Certifications and Licenses Required BLS, ACLS NRP certification within 6 months of hire Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements 36 Hours per week – Night Shift Essential Functions The Registered Nurse provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. The Registered Nurse assures safety in practice, applies evidence‑based practice, and advances knowledge through communication with and utilization of resource persons and programs. The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. The Registered Nurse is responsible for knowledge of the patient population served. The Registered Nurse supervises and directs delegation of tasks to team members and collaborates with other patient care providers. The Registered Nurse consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
