Experienced Welder / Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled welder/fabricator responsible for welding and fabricating stainless steel, aluminum, and steel components for a variety of projects and equipment. This role involves interpreting and building to project drawings and specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout. The position may also include performing on-site or field welding and fabrication work as required by project needs.

Hours: Mon Thursday 6am 4:30pm, Friday is OT if required

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel in all positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Fabricate and assemble components per drawings and specifications, completing assigned jobs on time.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project success.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support off-site installations and field service work, including mobile welding and rigging operations.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding with strong understanding of structural properties and welding symbols.
• Skilled in reading blueprints and operating shop tools such as press brake, shear, ironworker, and mill.
• Capable of performing equipment installation, rigging, and machinery setup both in-shop and on-site.
• Demonstrates urgency, self-motivation, and the ability to follow instructions and work in challenging conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Represents Source Engineering professionally on and off site.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, lift 50+ lbs, and perform repetitive movements.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing (including marijuana) and a Class C health exam for mobile service truck operation.

Travel: Local to customers if needed.
