Neuroradiologist

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neuroradiologist for a per diem (as-needed) faculty appointment within our academic Neuroradiology Division. The primary need for this position is weekend neuroradiology coverage across the Johns Hopkins Health System, making it particularly well suited for individuals seeking a predominantly weekend-based practice arrangement. Additional coverage opportunities may be available based on departmental needs and candidate interest. Scheduling options may include: Predominantly weekend coverage Occasional weekday coverage opportunities Remote reading opportunities Block scheduling or other non-traditional arrangements based on mutual agreement Appointment & Compensation Faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor, commensurate with experience Per diem compensation commensurate with an annualized range of $441,000-$535,000, prorated based on days worked Access to academic resources and opportunities for professional engagement About the Department The Russell H. Qualifications Qualifications MD or DO degree Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency Fellowship training in Neuroradiology Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those candidates who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.
