Mid-Level Interior Designer

Collarte Interiors is a Miami-based interior design studio creating layered and collected interiors for residential clients. Our work is rooted in materiality and craftsmanship. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Interior Designer to join our team. Working closely with our Principal, the Interior Designer will lead 2–3 projects at once, with an emphasis on design development, construction documentation, FF&E specification and budgeting, and coordination through installation. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design, exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with others. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about interior design but also demonstrates a strong, consistent work ethic and a dedication to high-quality craftsmanship. This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Coconut Grove studio in Miami. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely and collaborate with the Principal through all project phases, from concept to completion Develop design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and presentations that communicate the design vision Lead sourcing of fabrics, furniture, finishes, lighting, and decorative objects consistent with our studio’s aesthetic Prepare comprehensive interior design construction documents, along with coordinated schedules and specifications for build Develop drawings for custom furniture, built-ins, and millwork in collaboration with fabricators and craftspeople Own FF&E specifications, schedules, and budgets from selection through procurement and installation Attend client meetings and site visits, ensuring clear communication and project alignment Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and craftspeople to ensure seamless project installation Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, flagging issues to the Principal early Maintain accurate and organized project files, specifications, and material #J-18808-Ljbffr Business of Home
