Facilities Custodian

Runnings is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Custodian to help keep our store clean, safe, and ready for customers each day. This early morning role is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently in a fast-paced retail environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our store is welcoming, organized, and operating at a high standard before doors open to the community. What You'll Do Store Cleaning & Maintenance • Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the store • Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, including use of floor scrubber equipment • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas • Empty trash and recycling containers Organization & Presentation • Dust fixtures, shelves, and store surfaces • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and ready prior to opening • Support overall store appearance and company standards Safety & Awareness • Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns • Help maintain a safe environment for customers and team members What We're Looking For Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality for early morning shifts • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Attention to Detail: A commitment to cleanliness and high standards • Physical Readiness: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods • Experience: Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is helpful, but not required Schedule Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays • 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM What You'll Get Consistent, part-time hours • Early morning schedule (no late nights) • Supportive, team-focused environment • Opportunity to contribute to a clean, organized, and successful store Who is Runnings?
