Volt is immediately hiring a Material Handler at Monroeville, PA

As a Material Handler , you will:

To support manufacturing operations involving photochromic dyes, OLED materials, and optical coatings. This role is responsible for safely handling, moving, and preparing materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move chemicals, drums, totes, and pallets.
\n
• Prepare and stage chemicals for production, verifying quantities and shelf life.
\n
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
\n
• Verify order accuracy and prepare shipments.
\n
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
\n
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies or damaged materials.
\n
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
\n
• 1+ year of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
\n
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment.
\n
• Willingness to wear a respirator and required PPE.
\n
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
\n

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate:  $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
