How you'll contribute A Housekeeper/Utility Worker who excels in this role: * Reports to supervisors consistently and on time for scheduled shift * Organizes materials to be moved into lots and inventories items * Transports items and materials to loading docks, loads truck/trailer for material transport and unloads materials * May drive truck and trailer to transfer station or other destination * Performs light sanding and surface preparation for painting and paints exterior surfaces as directed * Performs miscellaneous landscape and grounds tasks as directed * May assist in transport/courier service for Facilities to gathering parts and supplies * Performs inspection and checklist duties as directed Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for Housekeeper/Utility Worker * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required * Experience: One year Institutional/Commercial Housekeeping or Maintenance experience preferred * Licenses: Valid state driver's license required More about UP Health System - Portage Your Regional Medical Center UP Health System - Portage has been serving Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula since 1896.
