Our team offers a dynamic and collaborative environment where our colleagues can learn at a fast pace and are rewarded with advanced opportunities both within Finance and across the firm.What You'll DoOwn end-to-end technology procurement for Point72, shaping high-value agreements that support the firm's technology strategyLead negotiations for SaaS agreements, enterprise software subscriptions, enterprise license agreements, and professional services contracts with major technology vendorsIdentify and redline key contract terms covering automatic renewals, price escalators, data portability, audit rights, service-level agreements, and service commitmentsBenchmark pricing and commercial structures to strengthen negotiation strategies, support vendor decisions, and identify cost optimization opportunitiesBuild total cost of ownership analyses and business cases that help stakeholders evaluate trade-offs, risks, and long-term valueStructure technology deals that align commitments with forecasted usage, business priorities, risk considerations, and future operating needsManage the technology contract lifecycle, including execution, repository accuracy, renewal planning, amendments, and statement of work oversightMonitor technology spend, supplier performance, market conditions, and renewal timelines to identify savings, cost avoidance, and vendor optimization opportunitiesPartner with Legal, Technology, Finance, and other stakeholders to align procurement decisions with governance, regulatory requirements, and commercial risk managementWhat's Required5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with the majority focused on software, SaaS, or technology categoriesBachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, law, supply chain management, or a related analytical disciplineExperience in financial services, investment management, or another regulated environment, procurement certifications, or procurement platform experienceProven experience independently negotiating SaaS and software agreements, including enterprise license agreements, subscription contracts, and professional services statements of workStrong contract review skills, including redlining commercial and legal provisions covering automatic renewals, price escalators, intellectual property, data-use rights, and audit clausesExperience leading full competitive sourcing processes, including scoping, supplier engagement, evaluation, selection, and awardDeep understanding of SaaS commercial models, including per-seat, concurrent-user, consumption-based, outcome-based, and enterprise license structuresSolid grounding in procurement principles, including category management, total cost of ownership analysis, benchmarking, cost modeling, and supplier performance managementStrong analytical skills, including experience working with spend data, building Excel-based cost models, and presenting commercial analysis to senior stakeholdersWe Take Care of Our PeopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
