Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Prepare and provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and update medical records accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ensure compliance with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current Registered Nurse license.
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proven experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
• Ability to work 7a-7p shifts, including every third weekend.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
