A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 150-bed community hospital in Lewiston, ID, seeking an experienced professional to provide excellent pharmaceutical care for a 13-week assignment. The role requires flexibility to work variable shifts in the afternoons, primarily 8-hour days, with a possibility of 7-on/7-off 10-hour day or afternoon shifts. The start date is urgent, with immediate availability preferred.

Location:

• Lewiston, ID (travel position)

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable days/afternoons, primarily 8-hour shifts
• Potential for 7-on/7-off 10-hour shifts (day or afternoon)

Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical orders
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting workflow efficiency
• Consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals on medication therapies
• Conducting pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments as needed
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
• Supporting a collaborative healthcare environment with a patient-first mindset

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Idaho pharmacist license or willingness to obtain promptly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in community hospital settings
