Energy Efficiency Program Support Manager

Public Service Electric & Gas Co. (PSEG) offers a salary range of $107,600 - $170,300 for a Hybrid Flexible work location role. The position supports PSEG’s vision of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient energy services while maintaining strong community ties. Responsibilities Lead as a working supervisor overseeing up to five associates in program implementation. Oversee the performance of office and field vendors contracted to deliver program services. Manage employee performance and participate in cross‑functional teams, including CES, Customer Care, Contracting, Procurement, Legal, Marketing, and IT. Enhance program delivery and customer experience, resolving business and customer issues. Develop and maintain processes for implementing energy efficiency projects in compliance with BPU‑approved programs. Provide oversight for business controls, process improvement, and regulatory compliance. Implement process improvements and automation where possible. Monitor program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure delivery meets business plan expectations and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present program and project status reports to senior management. Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as necessary. Support storm restoration efforts, which may require work outside normal schedules. Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC activities; apply knowledge of energy savings measures and techniques. Manage customer relationships to achieve high satisfaction levels. Compile and analyze data from various projects to monitor status and deliver management reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Seven (7) years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, vendor management, or project management; or eleven (11) years of equivalent experience if a degree is not held. Proven experience managing vendor performance and leading cross‑functional teams. Knowledge of energy efficiency or electric vehicle programs. Compliance with DOE regulation 10 CFR 810 is required. Preferred certifications: Certified Energy Manager (CEM), MBA or advanced degree, Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP).
