How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

Join a growing team of three physicians and one APP. Practice setting: mix of inpatient, outpatient clinic, and procedures. Access to ASC, inpatient procedure rooms. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology. Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. Champion the care team experience for loved ones. Facilitate practice growth and quality outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues to foster a highly efficient practice model.

About The Facility

Sacred Heart Bay opened in 1949 and was acquired by Ascension in 2019 to further the Sacred Heart mission in the Panama City community: providing excellent health care to all people, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable. 200 bed Level II Trauma Center (part of a robust clinical network with our sister facilities in Pensacola, Destin, and Port St. Joe, FL). Serving a population of approximately 226,000. Integrated referral network (largest employed primary care network in NW FL). Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
