MRI Technologist PRN

Job Summary and Qualifications As a MRI Technologist you will perform and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for patients in the Imaging department. You will work under the direction of a physician, performing MRI examinations to patients of all ages with advanced technical knowledge. Under the direction of a physician, perform MRI examinations for patients of all ages using advanced technical knowledge. Perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Maintain advanced knowledge of MRI equipment, examinations, and collaborate with students and staff teaching MRI technology. Assess and provide care for all patients, interpreting information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment required. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 7 days of employment start date. Certification: ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Certification: ARRT-R (Radiography) Certification: RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer) Associate Degree. Minimum of 2 years experience.
