Position Summary:

Transports patients and equipment safely within the hospital.

Maintains transport equipment and places supplies in appropriate area.

Reports to: Radiology Supervisor

Transports patients and equipment within the hospital

Properly maintains transport and O2 equipment

Stock supplies/Cleans procedure rooms

Participates in continuing education

Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days of hire

Minimum Work Experience

Ability to move and lift heavy persons and equipment. Previous clinical experience in a similar environment preferred.
