Intermodal Truck Drivers / company & owner operators

Job Description Job Description We haul Mon-Fri with optional weekend work when available. Most of our loads start from the Joliet/Elwood terminals with a 150 mile radius fro deliveries and loading. Drivers come home every day a with weekly direct deposit. Responsibilities * Drive tractor-container/trailers and intermodal chassis to transport containers and freight locally * Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance * Maintain precise log documentation for routes, hours, and cargo handled * Follow all safety regulations and company policies throughout transport * Manage time efficiently to complete deliveries within the designated local radius * Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams using mobile apps and GPS Required Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with CDL-A license * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) * No history of DUI or SAPs Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of the Chicago area rail yards and intermodal transport operations * Proficient in vehicle operation and safety inspections * Strong time management and route planning skills * Effective communication and regulatory compliance abilities
