Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Operating Room to provide exceptional perioperative care. This role involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation and equipment are ready.
Assist surgeons and staff during surgeries, maintaining sterile field and adhering to safety protocols.
Monitor patient vitals throughout procedures and respond promptly to any changes.
Document all relevant clinical information accurately in the electronic health record system.
Comply with facility policies, including drug screening and compliance requirements.
Complete required labs and certifications within specified timeframes, including orientation modules.

Qualifications:

Hold a current RN license with clinical experience in the operating room.
Demonstrate at least 2 years of OR nursing experience within the specified service line.
Possess craniotomy and burr hole experience, along with trauma, neuro/spine, or orthopedic surgical knowledge.
Be certified in relevant specialties, with verification upon submission.
Be able to work 3x12s or 4x10s shift schedules, with flexibility based on facility needs.
Maintain compliance with travel and local radius policies, including drug screening requirements.
