Warehouse Manager (Import experience preferred)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, storage optimization, and compliance with safety standards. The manager will supervise a team, ensure efficient workflows, and maintain high levels of accuracy and timeliness in all warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities Manage receipt and dispatch of shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Oversee inventory management, audits, and control procedures. Optimize warehouse layout and storage conditions. Lead and train warehouse staff, promoting safety and performance. Collaborate with logistics providers to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse/logistics management experience, preferably in B2B Wholesale or import/direct shipping. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in inventory and logistics systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of OSHA safety protocols. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with international shipments and bonded warehouse procedures. Familiarity with duties/VAT processes. Forklift certification is a plus.
