Patient Population: 100% Pediatric / Neonatal
Level III NICU Care
Approximately 1-3 Admissions While On Call
Full Range of Level III NICU Patients
Prematurity and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
Gestational Age 22+ Weeks
Pediatric General Surgery Cases
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide 24-Hour In-House Neonatology Coverage
Perform Daily NICU Rounds
Provide Ongoing Care and Management of NICU Patients
Provide Delivery Room Coverage
Provide Prenatal Consultations as Needed
Support Neonatal Transport Services
Manage Premature and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
Provide High-Frequency Ventilation Including HFOV and HFJV
Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia
Provide Routine and Advanced NICU Care

Routine NICU Procedures

Daytime Coverage Includes Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs
Harrisburg Overnight Coverage Is Shared Between 2 NICU Providers
Harrisburg Overnight Team May Include 1 Neonatologist and 1 APP OR 2 Neonatologists
24-Hour APP Coverage Available at Harrisburg
Lititz Overnight Coverage Is Solo

Requirements
Board Certified - Required
Minimum of 1 Year of Neonatology Experience - Required
Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required at Application
IMLC Accepted
NRP - Required
DEA - Required
Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Harrisburg and Lititz Locations
Minimum Availability of 7 Days Per Month - Required
