Job Details:

• Weekend coverage needed for September: 9/4-9/6, 9/11-9/13, 9/18-9/20, and 9/25-9/27
• Locum Tenens assignment with 1-3 patient encounters per shift
• Physician must have the ability to place pacemakers
• Active Texas medical license required
• ACLS certification required
• Level 4 trauma facility
• Perform adult general surgery procedures
• Laparoscopic surgery required, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Head and neck surgery, including thyroid procedures, required
• Chest wall and pleural procedures required
• Breast surgery required
• GI endoscopy required, including upper and lower endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• Hand surgery required
• Ventilation management required
• Chest tube insertion required
• Central line insertion required
• Vascular surgery required
• Trauma surgery preferred
• Minor orthopedics preferred
• Board certification not required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
