Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Location: Midland, MI
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: Nights: 36 hrs. /week

Must-Have: Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) and RN License

Responsibilities:

The RN functions primarily in direct patient care and demonstrates "competent" clinical practice.

This position triages patients, obtains patient history and vital signs, and assesses patients.

Acts independently to initiate immediate care in the absence of a physician in life-threatening situations.

Provides care for the acutely ill as well as the non-acute patient.

Performs multiple procedures utilizing both complex and simple nursing skills and assists the physician with their procedures.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Work history/resume
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of experience
