Job Description

Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for skilled Commercial Electricians to join our team and support our clients ongoing and upcoming job sites.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings
Run, bend, and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), wire, and cable
Install and connect panels, switches, breakers, lighting, and control systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
Test systems using appropriate tools to ensure safety and compliance
Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades
Follow NEC codes, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician (journeyman level preferred)
Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and construction plans
Skilled in conduit bending, pulling wire, and installing fixtures
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
State licensing or certification (if required in your area)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
