Strategy and Transformation Analyst

BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSTWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?This position is responsible for leading projects or workstreams in gaining in-depth understanding of strategy, organizations, processes, and roadmaps to provide tactical and strategic solutions. The role partners across multiple functions (Business Owners, Process Owners, SMEs, Product Owners, Controls, 2LOD, Technology, etc.) to identify requirements in the design of new processes, operating models, or solutions. This role also drives execution from concept through change implementation and adoption, requiring strong written and verbal communications and project management skills to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress. Comfort with addressing complex issues, processes, and projects, and working in a high-paced, fluid environment is required. This individual will independently own a workstream or project in support of an overall strategic program, with frequent interaction with Senior Managers across the organization.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Gather input from stakeholders, via interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, work flow and task analysis, ensuring the right questions are asked to inform process enhancements, essential requirements, perform root cause analysis, and problem-solveReview, document, and evaluate business processes and advising and/or developing incremental enhancements to meet strategic goals in client or colleague experience, quality, efficiency, scalability, and risk management goalsPartner cross-functionally to identify and drive transformations, including defining solutions and articulating recommendations to senior stakeholdersDiagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related toolsAssist with remediating process and control gaps and issues, including analyses of potential enhancements to the original approach, to determine and build the best solution available within constraints and capabilities.Design or re-engineer processes, formulate business requirements and roadmaps to address strategic prioritiesCreate relevant presentations, analysis, or reports to drive and support engagementsEstablish implementation and adoption plan, including identifying readiness needs (training, user documentation) and tracking metrics for effective change managementDevelop, maintain, and communicate project status to manager and key business stakeholdersManage project and deliverable expectations with key business stakeholdersBuild, maintain and leverage relationships with stakeholders to drive project outcomesAct as brand ambassador for workstream or program by developing solid working relationships across the organization as to facilitate communication and strategic partnerships.Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and special projects or reportingSupport a high-performance environment by fostering an inclusive work environment, helping/elevating peers, and taking ownership of individual developmental goals.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Required Qualifications*Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum of 6 years in strategy, transformation, product management, process improvement, or complex project deliveryAdditional QualificationsMinimum of 6 years working in financial services or banking industry preferred Consulting experience preferredStrong knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPrior banking experience and extensive experience of process analysis and designWorking knowledge of financial analysisIdentifies appropriate metrics/measures for tracking desired outcomes or adoptionEstablishes and shares best practicesIndependently drives meetings and workshops, in-person or remote, with various levels of the organization, including executivesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner an influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organizationExercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques appropriate for the situation for obtaining solutionsExcels in environment with high priority projects where business problems are complex, ambiguous, or uniqueIndependently evaluates business needs and requirements and recommends and implements solutionsAbility to work with confidential and sensitive nonpublic informationExercises discretion and good judgement on stakeholder communications, given strategically impactful and/or sensitive nature of workStrong interpersonal/teamwork skills and effective working with all levels in the organizationIndependent project management with complete ownership of a project or workstreamWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?CompensationStarting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
