Laborer

Laborer - Haines, Alaska AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our team in Haines, Alaska. This is a seasonal position for the remainder of 2026, with the potential to open in the spring of 2027. This position will provide a variety of support to the line crew on the power side. As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including: Brush cutting and weed trimming Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance Supporting powerplant operations Other duties as assigned by the crew lead This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on diverse tasks. Schedule 7:00A.M. to 3:30P.M., Monday through Friday, through the remainder of 2026. Occasional overtime may be required. Candidate Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T 1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test Basic computer skills The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour and is DOE, AP&T offers a generous benefit package including (but not limited to) medical, dental, vision, 401K, (plus more) a $5000.00 annual medical travel reimbursement, up to $125 annual medivac insurance reimbursement and employee stock ownership options. $200.00 in company logowear.
