Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment.

Job Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology, or Paramedic program,
• Minimum of 2 years of RN, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Critical Care/ED nursing experience,
• Cardiac specialty experience preferred,
• Active BLS (ARC or AHA Healthcare Provider) required,
• One of the following credentials required: ARRT, RRT (licensed by NCRCB and credentialed by NBRC), NC EMT-P credentialing, or graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (RCIS certification required within 3 months of hire),
• Epic experience required,
• License required if applicable,
• Must provide 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years,
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Assess patient medical history and current condition to prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures,
• Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes,
• Collaborate with physicians and technicians to support smooth and successful procedure execution,
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cath lab procedures,
• All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility,
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
