Travel Nurse RN CVICU – Aurora, Colorado MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) assignment in Aurora, Colorado. Position Details Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts – days, nights) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Administer care for patients following open‑heart surgery. Responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients. Educate the patient’s family on the ongoing needs and care of the patient. Administer medications, check vital signs and alert physicians of any major changes in the patient’s condition. Act as a liaison between the physicians and patients, relaying important information to patients’ families and ensuring patient welfare. Provide daily bedside care to support patient recovery. Qualifications Active RN license. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS & ACCLS certifications. At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care CVICU setting.
